This application was developed through a collaboration between Psyon Games and Takeda Pharmaceuticals, aiming to provide a nuanced perspective on ADHD.

What does experiencing ADHD truly entail? As this condition manifests uniquely in each individual, there is no singular answer. Recognizing this diversity, FULL ADHD (ALL ABOUT ADHD) transcends traditional storytelling by offering an interactive visual novel that explores a range of personal experiences. Its branching narrative invites users to influence the trajectory of a young adult’s life with ADHD, illustrating the myriad pathways and challenges faced.

The story begins with the protagonist embarking on studies, gaining independence, starting part-time employment, forming romantic relationships, forging friendships, and navigating entirely new situations—all while engaging cognitive resources intensely. The narrative captures the vibrancy and complexity of early adulthood, emphasizing both opportunities and obstacles.

In today’s turbulent times, managing ADHD can add layers of difficulty to this transitional period. Daily life with ADHD often comprises unpredictable challenges, emotional moments, and moments of levity—reflecting the tumultuous experience of living with a neurodevelopmental condition.

Many users may relate to questions such as: How can one concentrate amidst a torrent of racing thoughts? How does one prioritize responsibilities when alternative distractions seem more appealing? How does one complete tasks when eager to move onto the next? How can stillness be achieved when one’s internal drive remains relentless? How does one avoid feeling overwhelmed amid captivating surroundings? How can emotional regulation be maintained when feelings threaten to overflow? And how can future planning happen when living moment-to-moment seems paramount?

Through embodying the character of Eddie, players confront these questions firsthand, gaining insight into daily life with ADHD. The app was crafted with expert input from psychiatrists specialized in ADHD and was developed in partnership with Takeda, the Finnish ADHD Patient Association, and individuals sharing their lived experiences.

Beyond the interactive story, the app features a comprehensive in-app library offering detailed information on relevant themes. Users can also take an ADHD quiz to assess their knowledge and understanding of the condition.
